1st. weekend down...3 to go...arrived at the Studios as planned at 5:25am, I got in line for Ray Parks along with my daughter, my son got in line for Warwick Davis. He was about 20th in line, I was further back, FP distribution was outside the park this time and I think it's a hit!! at 8:15am the FP's distribution started, unlike previous years where you needed your park ticket to put it into the FP machine, this time the CM's has the stack of tickets and just gives them out one by one, in less than 4min I had my Ray Park FP for the begining of 3rd session. Stormtroopers show was awesome as always, entered the park at 9am and signed my daughter up for the parade and padawan mind challenge. Soon enough it was time for Warwick's 1st session, a great guy as usual, we decided to take it easy and just sit down and soak in the SW atmosphere. Daughter did the Padawan challenge, this year all about the Clone Wars and of course, Ashoka made an appearance, the parade was great, a little rain at the start of it but not too much. Had lunch with a group of people from this site, great time to meet all of you, must do this again. We did the 2nd show of Behind the Force, the Clone Wars, James Arnold Taylor, the voice of Obi Wan is sooo talented, loved the show, and how they show you what it takes to be a voice-over actor. And of course, the Hoopla is not to be missed this year, all about the 90's, cut short because of the skies opening at 7:15pm, torrential rain and thunderstorm. Went back home to a nice comfy bed. The Q&A on Sunday was awesome, Ray and Warwick reenacted the duel scene in Phantom Menace, I hope someone recorded it to watch it on youtube, it was awesome. This next weekend we'll try and get more characters.
