Star Wars Weekends

I was going to try to sleep and then leave for Disney around midnight (it's about a two hour drive from my house) but I just couldn't seem to sleep so I took off around 11 and was there around 1:15. There was very few people in any of the lines and I jumped right into Matthew Wood's line. I had purposed to myself to get Tom Kane's autograph but I wanted to get Wood as well so I got is his line thinking if Kane's got too long I would switch...

This did not prove to be a problem...I easily got Tom Kane's second session and Matthew Wood first session and a Lorne Peterson 3rd session...In fact I was the first one to get to Matthew's line inside the park.

So my friend and I recently got the Clone Wars Blu-Ray for season 1, which is what I was getting signed... When we were going through it we saw this little mark that said Plo Kool...wondering what it was we discovered that it was Dave's stamp of approval for the show...

As Matt Signed the Blu-Ray he looked through the booklet and I mentioned this to him. Matt lit up and said that was a fantastic idea and that he would mention it to Dave...I never figured he would...but see my report for weekend 3 to find out about that...

I then went to the Behind the Force which was great with Tom Kane and then Stars of the Saga which was fun before going to Tom Kane's  session...Tom was GREAT and signed my Blu-Ray....really tall guy which is ironic...

Then it was time to wait for Lorne Peterson but I saw that there was nobody in his standby line for second session and even though my guarantee pass was not till 3rd session they let me in...Lorne signed a New Hope poster for me and was pleasant....

Great weekend....everybody was saying the Billy Dee lines were long which they proved to be the next weekend....
