2010 Weekend 3 - blueside30

We'll, I arrived at Hollywood Studios around 5:30 am on Sunday and got in line right away for Billy Dee Williams, along with my wife and sister-in-law. The line did not seem to far back and after talking to some people in front of us, they told us that his line was all the way around the corner near the lake on saturday. So, things were looking good so far. Ray Park's line begin to grow longer, but Jeremy, Ashley and Dave's were quite short. Once things began moving around 8:45 and coming around a few times for some more fast passes, I was able to get 3 3rd sessions for Billy Dee Williams, 1 1st Session for Dave Filoni, 1 2nd Session for Ashley Eckstein and 3 standbys for Ray Park.

So, as we waited to go in to the park, we watched the stormtroopers who put on a great show! So hilarious! We went straight to Toy Story Mania to grab some FP's for later on in the day. After that, we walked around and got pictures with the different Star Wars characters... Boba Fett, Captain Rex, Commander Cody, Shaak Ti, Anakin and the Clone Troopers! After all of this, we were getting hungry so we stopped and got some lunch, before going over and getting ready for the parade. The parade was great as always! Enjoyed some of the troopers/characters that were in it! We did some more walking around, checking out Boba's Bounty and the Darkside Depot! Now, I see what everyone has been talking about in the lack of merchandise. Hardly nothing compared to last year! Anyway, it was time to go over and get in line for Dave! He was awesome as always, signing a Clone Wars Poster for me and doing a sketch of a Clone Trooper! After that, it was time for Toy Story Mania and afterwards, I swung by Ray's second signing session to look at how the standby's were looking, and found out that he only took about 5 people from his first session and alot of people were still standing and waiting. I had some pretty high standby numbers, so I decided I would just try to get him the next weekend. Time went by and it was time for Billy Dee Williams! I was so glad that Disney was able to get him to attend this years Star Wars Weekend, being the 30th Anniversary of Empire! It really added to the event having a key character from that film attend the event! We'll, got to meet him and he was very nice but quiet. I got signed an Empire poster, Fanboys movie poster and a mini Empire Poster! Another hour passed and got to go meet Ashley! She was very nice and was telling me about her new clothing line, which my wife is very excited about. She signed my Clone Wars poster and even one of the 5x7 photos!

It was getting to be about that time for everyone's favorite Star Wars Weekend even... Hyperspace Hoopla! We made it over to the stage, and had a really good few from the Backlot Restaurant to the left of the stage. Watched the last Jedi Training Academy and then watched the Hoopla! Loved the 80's theme! Vader dancing to Michael Jackson... awesome! We'll, that's wraps things up for Weekend 3, now getting ready for the last one!
