Star Wars Weekends

Junior weekend done. I'll try and keep this one short.

Arrived at DHS at 5am and of course the line for Billy D Williams was long...how long was it? at 5am it was all the way down to the boat dock, having absolutley no expectations for a FP my daughter and I made that line and my son went into Ray Park's line and the around for a Dave Filoni FP. After 3 hours and 45min ended up with: 1 FP ray Park 2nd session; 1 FP Dave Filoni 3rd session and 2 stanbys #31 and #32 for Billy D Williams.

Next on the priority list: picture with Jedi Mickey and R2MK, so at rope drop went straight for the line only to learn that we had Minnie at 9:30am and Mickey and R2 at 10:15am, decided to stay because I wasn''t going to make the line later in the day and got a pleasant surprise when at 10:15 we got Mickey, R2MK and Minnie, got awesome pics of the 3 of them alone and then with my daughter and another of all of us.

Saw the parade and Q&A show, met Ray and then went to see how the stanbys were doing with Billy Dee. Well they moved Mr. Williams desk indoors at Sounds Dangerous so that he could be more comfortable and that way being able to meet more people, we were the 3rd family with standbys to go in (he had managed almost 40 standbys in the first session) not very talkative, but still pleasant, signed the kids stuff and posed for pics.

The last priority on the list: record Hoopla, claimed a spot by the infamous rope at 5:30, got squished,shoved and pushed but managed to record it all with minimal shakyness...Hoopla is so much fun but I'm crossing my fingers that Disney execs hear all the complaints about the lack of space, the heat, the amount of time you have to spend in that spot just to get a good shot of the whole thing; and move it somewhere else,

Next week will be graduation week...Senior SWW...
