Star Wars Weekends

We'll, arrived at Hollywood Studios this Friday morning around 6am, with my wife and sister-in-law and saw that the lines were really short! Ray Park's line and Peter Mayhew's was the longest, but was very manageable! My wife and sister in law got in line for Ray Park and I got in line for Jeremy Bulloch. I was like the 8th person in line so I was getting pretty excited about today! Friday was extra magic hours, so as the park began to open, more people began to get in line. By 8am, Ray's line was pretty far back, along with Peter's. Once things got rolling, I got my FP for Jeremy and circled around a few times, getting more FPs and was able to get the following: 2 FP 1st session for Ray Park, 1 FP for Jeremy Bulloch, 2 FP 2nd session for James Arnold Taylor, 1 FP 3rd session for Peter Mayhew and one standby (24) for him also.

So, after all of this, had to run back to the car and get my stuff. Went and got in line for Ray Park and got him to sign an Episode 1 poster, and a Fanboys poster (same one Billy Dee Williams signed last week!). He was a super nice guy, very talkative and very funny! So glad I got to meet him! Awesome guy! While my wife and I was in line for Ray, my sister in law grabbed some FP's for Toy Story Mania for that evening. We walked around, did some shopping and rode some rides, then it was time lunch. Had some lunch at the ABC Commissary and did some more shopping at the Star Wars stores. We went to the Stars of the Saga talkshow. Had a great time there! The stormtroopers were hilarious and we'll, Boba Fett and the stormtrooper... was awesome! Ray Park was so hilarious! Loved seeing all the special guests via video, talking about Empire and Star Wars Weekend! Great show!

Swung by Peter Mayhew's 2nd session to use my standby and was able to get in. Got him to sign my Star Wars: Episode IV poster, which I've had signed by David Prowse, Anthony Daniels and Carrie Fisher! He was very nice and loved his lightsaber cane! Shortly after that, it was time for Jeremy, who's session had been moved up and got him to sign my Empire Strikes Back Poster (signed by Billy Dee last weekend). My sister in law wanted to meet Peter Mayhew, so she got him to sign the Empire poster as well during the 3rd session! We swung over and rode Star Tours after this... so looking forward to Star Tours 2.0 when it comes out! It will no doubt, be amazing! After this, time for the days for autographs. Got over to James Arnold Taylor and he was awesome! Joking the whole time and talking as Obi-Wan, what a super nice guy! Got him to sign my Clone Wars poster and a mini Clone Wars poster (which was signed by Dave and Ashley last year.) He made a comment about Dave always signing his name beside Obi-Wan on the poster, hardly leaving him any room to sign! He just rolled his eyes and sighed "Dave!". So funny... also, signing the poster as "Obi-Plo" was a very nice touch! After that, it was Toy Story Mania time and we had dinner reservations, so we missed out on seeing the Hyperspace Hoopla for last time!

We'll, that's all for Weekend 4 from me! Can't wait till next year and in 3 more years... 30th Anniversary of Jedi!!!
