2010 Weekend 4 - Yulady

Senior weekend...let start with the obvious...the HEAT!!. I'm not someone who complains about weather, it's smomething unavoidable, but, geez was it hot. I wish they move SWW back to all May weekends next year, it makes a slight diffference. Alright on to the last report.

Saturday morning arrived at 5:30am, got 1 FP first session Peter Mayhew, 2FP's first session Arnold James Taylor and 2FP 2nd session Aslhey Eckstein. Mr. Mayhew was as fast signing his name as usual, polite, cordial, but very tired. Why can't they put him inside to sign autographs is beyond me like they did with Billy Dee Williams. James Arnold Taylor is awesome!!!! He did all these voices while signing and chatted with the kids. My daughter got to participate in Ray Park's show and he's looking more buff each year (not that that's a bad thing) Great guy, so nice with all the kids. My son went to meet Ashley and they talked for a while, she signed her picture: To my skyguy Gus, Ashley Eckstein.

Sunday arrived at 10:00am to take in the last day, a CM asked my daughter if she wanted to be in the parade and she said no, because she already had done it the first weekend. The CM said that she had asked about 15 families and they all declined, that it was Ok for my daughter to do it again, so she did. Last STars of the Saga show ended with the show director presenting the Art work with Donald as Bobba Fett to Jeremy Bullock and joking how he still had some dificulty with the Mickey Mouse song at the end. The last Behind the Force show ended with the same show director presenting the Alice in Wonderland hand painted cell to Ashley Eckstein. The merchandise was marked down 50% so I grabbed a picture frame and a T-Shirt, it came up to $15 using my additional 10% discount for AP. And then on to brave the temps for Hoopla. This time we decided to grab a chair and sit by the Backlot Tour, we had 1 row of chairs in front of us, so we had a great view, so happens that the 2 adults in front of us, decided to stand up for the whole show. We asked them nicely if the could sit down, I mean that's the whole point of grabbing chairs and putting them next to the ropes and waiting for 2 hours, and they said that they couldn't see. If I could see and my kids could see then they could too, but I was exhausted and didn't want to argue. We still got a decent view of the whole show. So it was time to say goodbye to SWW 2010. 2 things I'm hoping for next year, move it back to May and a different place for the Hoopla.
