Come children, let me tell you a tale of ships and whales...
Ok, that has nothing to do with SWW, but I think its funny. Anywho, Im just going to hit on a few things that my gf and I did at SWW this year.
WEEKEND 1
We got in line for Dee Baker at about 5am. This may seem crazy, but others had been there in line overnight sleeping on the ground. Owee. As the morning went on, about 7:30-8am folks started rolling in. Lines were big, but don't be intimidated.
Let me that you are NOT limited to one fastpass per actor. Despite what you've heard. Every morning Ive gone so far, I've gotten AT LEAST 8 fastpasses total just by myself. So, the castmembers start handing out the fastpasses and then you circle around all the attendees staring at BOBA FETT who is standing on top of the hollywood studios entrance. Thats a challange alltogether. Then everyone kinda runs to the next person, or same person, they want a fastpass from. I was surprised who had the longest line early in the morning. You would have thought Jeremy Bulloch being this is the year of Boba Fett and he only having one session every day, but no. It was actually Tem Morrison.
Daniel Logan was very cool to everyone. So was Tem Morrison. Didnt get to see Ashley because I saw her last year. Jeremy was cool, but kinda quiet when we met him. (He signed my Sarlacc pit. Very nice.)
As always cast members who were checking fastpasses were short, and to the point, boarderline mean. They are just there to control the lines, not really to engage in SW conversation. On more than one occasion, even though I had a standby pass, I was not allowed to stand in the "standby" section and wait. Maybe its just me. For Dee Baker, I got 3 action figures signed and my Clone Wars poster as well.
