Sophmore weekend. Got to DHS at 5:30am. Lines were very short, I got in line for Tom Kane, my daughter for Lorne Petrerson and my son for Matthew Wood. Ended up with 1 FP for each with the same time for all (9:50am-10:10am) awesome because we could meet them all in the morning and then leave our stuff in a locker for the rest of the day. First of Mr. Tom Kane: great guy and very tall, weird since he voices Master Yoda. Next Mr. Lorne Peterson, so nice, my daughter asked him what was his fave ship to biuld and he said the Millenium Falcon and Slave I. Last Mr. Matthew Wood, as usual, great and very talkative. He did the voice for Gral Griveous while signing my daughters book.
My daughter did the Padawan Mind Challenge and that was fun then we had lunch at Backlot Express while we saw the parade from inside thru one of the windows. Went to get in line for the Q & A show and met Anakin. IMO this Anakin was way to pretty to portray the original but he complemented my daughter on her dress telling her that it must be hard work to be a politician during these trying times (My daughter dressed as Padme Amidala). The show was fun, Jeremy seems to be getting a handle on this hosting stuff, and he didn't mess up the Mickey Mouse song at the end (that happened last week). Met Asajj Ventress and she is so cool, I told her I was looking for Jedi Mickey (I had my Jedi Mickey hat on) and she said: How very unfortunate of you. Saw behind the force show with Tom Kane and he has done so many v/o jobs, if you've heard a commercial or a trailer for a movie you probably have heard his voice. We went back to the Star Tours area only to find itr almost completely empty, there was a huge black cloud coming our way and people seemed affraid of it. Wen't inside Backlot Express when the skies opened up. When it calmed down a bit y daughter went to the info desk and came back with a report that C3PO was over there, taking pic and talking, I had to go to see this for myself. In fact C3PO was there, and he was AWESOME!! apparently he was on loan from Lucas Ranch and they were not sure if he would be back for the weekends to come. Also because of the rain all celeb's were moved to this area and Jeremy Bulloch was taking walk ins, so we met him again and got pics.
All in all great weekend, the clouds made the weather very comfortable the only downside was that they canceled Hoopla...Junior weekend promises big crowds and maybe a special Trip to the Maul
