Star Wars Weekends

We went to SWW this past weekend for the complementary passholder lanyards. Since we had already been to the first SWW in May, we had no expectations of really doing much. We arrived about 8:30am and my son (age 11) got a stand-by fast pass for Matt. We went straight to Jabba's Hut to get passholder lanyards and found that they had plenty! While waiting around Matt's first session at 9:45am for my son to be in the standby line, my other son ( age 4) and I wondered over to the event information booth to ask about any openings for JTA. My son had a blaster and was blasting trees, signs, etc and one of the cast members starting talking with him. My son said that his brother gave him the blaster and he was trying to get the bad guys. A few moments later, another cast member came up to me (along with the original cast member who spoke to my son) and asked me how old big brother was. I told them 11 and the woman said to follow her. She brought me into the air-conditioned room behind the information booth. The cast member asked if both boys liked Darth Maul. Of course they do! She handed me two wristbands and stated that they can be in the "Visit to the Maul" show up on stage! Wow! What a magical moment that was! Both boys loved being up on stage (they got to keep the red lightsabers that were handed out to them) and are still talking about it! :)
