Week Two

We arrived at the park on Sunday at around 3 or 3:30 am and went directly to park in the Music parking lot. Last week we got there much later and the line was much shorter. I was hoping I was early enough to get a guaranteed Fast Pass. My son and I got on David Prowse's line and my husband got on the Peter Mayhew line. To pass the time we slept and played cards.

The routine was the same as the previous week. Seven o'clock through the gates and a slow crawl up to the Fast Pass machines. We got tickets for the second session of David Prowse, the First and Second of Peter Mayhew (We got back in line) and for Warwick Davis. Lucky again. My son was also given a wristband to be in the parade. He was very happy.

After we received out Fast Passes we took a break and rested for a while until our first autograph session with Peter Mayhew. After that we waited on line for about 20 minutes to see Chewbacca. From there my son had to go get ready for the parade. My husband wasn't feeling good so he went back to the car for a while. Which didn't bode well for me as I had to carry our backpack and other belongings while marching in back of my son in the parade. If you saw the Fat, wilted, red faced lady trying to take pictures of her son while marching in back of him as the sweat dripped down her face, that was me... OMG! I think my husband got ill on purpose so he didn't have to do it. But it was a real neat experience. Too bad I couldn't get any good pictures as they don't let you use your camera when you are "backstage". Fortunately the Young Padawans only march half way and then they stop and let them watch the rest in an area saved for them.

After the parade we met my husband back at the car for a lunchbreak. It was cooler than the previous weekend but not by much. After lunch we attempted the Jedi Mickey line again and just made it. We were the last ones and then it started to drizzle. We rode Star Tours a few times as there was practically no line at all. The Jedi Training Academy and the Padawan Mind Challenge were very cute and nice to watch even if your child is not picked.

We had our second autograph session with Peter Mayhew and then David Prowse. After that we headed over to the Rock N Rollercoaster. As soon as we got off it started to pour. We ran over to take shelter in the stores. As time passed we started to wonder what we would do as we had a Fast pass for the Warwick Davis signing. We found out in the nic of time that when it rains they move the celebrities inside. Warwick Davis does his signings inside the Indiana Jones store and the others do it at the Sound Studio. Once we got Warwick Davis that was enough for day 2.
