Weekend 3 - lorne cook

Star Wars Weekend #3 Hey guys, This weekend was a blast. It hardly rained. The lines were well maintained. Everyone was cool. I got a total of 3 fastpasses (1 prowse (second session) and 2 bulloch (first and second session), and 2 standbys, 1 prowse and 1 bulloch). Prowse's line was EXTREMELY long (like almost out to the parking lot). Bulloch's was suprisingly shorter then I thought it was going to be. Oh yeah, and I think Jay La'gia was there too? (lol). I ended up giving away my extra standby to a child that had special needs. PS, I used my Prowse Standby first in the first autograph session, and got in, shockingly. Folks, I was number 74!!! At 1pm, I went to see Steve Sansweet and get his autograph. That was too sweet because when I got there, there were only 2 people in line and they were just chatting it up. No fastpass needed. Awesome. PS, annoucements for Celebration 5 will be announced in then next few months.. Think about this. Steve was a last minute add, right? Was he scoping out Orlando as the site for CV? Hmmmmm? I say yes. I asked him if he could ask Frank Oz to come, and he said "We have been asking him for years, but he is just too busy. Maybe with this Celebration being so big he might be able to attend to not only sign autographs, but to do Q&A sessions as well." Is it just me, or does it bother anyone else about the things people bring to have signed? I have seen... -canvas (yep, just a blank canvas) -stamps -a backpack (I hope you see my point...) It just bothers me. You would be better off getting a headshot signed then bringing nonsense like this stuff. I saw one lady with a boba fett bust about as big as my hand. How is Jeremy Bulloch supposed to sign that??? There should be a castmember at the front of the line checking to see if the things that people bring to get signed pass a 'is it worthy' test. "You want a t-shirt signed? Get out of my line, sir." The other thing is the people that walk by the autograph table and ask if they can get an autograph. Are you serious? I was here at 5am to secure my place and you want to saunter up and get Boba Fett's sig to satisfy your whiny 2 year old, huh?I have a New Hope poster that now has 100+ autographs on it. My pride and joy. I brought that to Prowse and he stopped and looked at the names . "Phil Brown? Dead. Peter Cushing? Dead. Micheal Sheard? Dead." He really said that, and I thought that was hilarious. He asked me how long I have been collecting these autographs and I said about 10 years now. He was impressed as was Sansweet. Sansweet looked at it for about 10 minutes in awe. See, to me, that's impressive. Impressing someone with the world's largest SW collection. If you didnt get a chance to meet Steve, I think you missed out on great conversation.
