Weekend 4 - Yulady

This was it, the last weekend and we made it a Saturday and Sunday event. Sadly Tem. Morrison had to go back home because of a death in the family. So they got Ashley to fill in and she didn't dissapoint.

Got to DHS at 5:30am, my son got in-line for Dave Filoni while my daughter and I got in line for Ashley, ended up with 1st session for Dave and second session for Ashley. My daughter met Dave for the autograph and she asked how he had come up with the Ashoka character, he kindly explained the whole thing while drawing a full size sketch of her in the back of his picture. Awesome guy. Ashley was the sweetest thing, my son very un-characteristic of him did not even talk to her, my daughter jumped right in telling her that we've been to all of her shows and also showed Ashley how she could do the Brady Bunch voice, Ashley loved this and called her mom, who was just outside the tent for her to listen to my daughter, my daughter also told her that every time she's been trying to get picked but hadn't. Ashley said to try to get her attention during the next show.

I asked my son why he didn't talk to Ashley and his only respond was "She's Hot!!" LOL So we went to Ashley's show, and as soon as she said she needed volunteers my daughter got her hands up, first up the voice of the clone troopers, then General Griveous, then for the last one Ashley and Dave came straight to my daughter and asked her to do Jabba the Hutt. She got to go up on stage and do the battle droids and then recieved the autographed picture from Ashley and Dave, she was on cloud 9.

Sunday was the last day and we had made gift baskets and a card for the CM's working the event, all of them are so nice and patient and they don't get aknowledged as they should. Got spots for the parade at the stairs of the AIE, when Ashley's car came by my daughter waved at her and she waved back and said "Hi Stephanie" my daughter couldn't believe she remembered her. On to the Q&A show where Ashley took the director hat and had Jay and Dave act a scene from the clone wars, really funny, and the to the last Ashley show, she had to leave that show to go back to LA that's why she only had 2 autographs sessions.

Wicket's had the exclusive SWW t-shirts (the purple, orange and white) on sale from 26.95 to 9.99, got 2 shirts, then we went to wait for Hoopla, hilarious as always, and ended our day. Two things that I wish they improve for next year:

The autograph FP distribution system is better this year, but they need to inforce the line holding, it's not fair that some of us get up early to wait in line only to be bumped by people in the front holding spaces for 15 to 30 of their closest friends. The hoopla needs to be relocated, the Star Tours area is too small, I was at the ropes around 5pm to get a front spot for the Hoopla at 7pm, and when they moved the rope it was sooo crowded, and squished, I almost left, the only thing was that I wanted to record from up front, I was thinking they could move it to Indiana Jones Theater, or even over to the hat stage, somewhere else where there's more room to spread out and it's more elevated. Anyways had a great time as always, and can't wait for next years/
