Star Wars Weekends

Weekend two brings back longtime Star Wars Weekender, Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca).  For anyone who is going for the first time, this man is truly a gentle giant.  I have met this very tall man a couple of times now and he is as nice as they come.  If this is your families first trip, you really want to get some pictures with Chewy here.  Peter Mayhew, standing next to just about anyone, towers over them.  You will be impressed by his stature and his kindness. 

Matthew Wood is the voice of General Grievous for both the movies and Cartoon shows as well as one of the Sound Editors from the Star Wars Prequels.  He has worked on other projects , everything from Robot Chicken Star Wars to the Adventures of Young Indiana Jones and even trace him back to his days of Game testing and the Secret of Monkey Island.  (yes I've played the game).  Matthew Wood is a lot of fun and has had his hands into a great number of different Lucas/Star Wars projects, so he always has something new to add. 

While this crew has been to weekends before, I would expect that their  Stars of the Saga show to be among the more intersting of for this years event.  I say this mostly because Wood is involved in so much that you never know what you might hear about.  While he is very deeply involved in the Clone Wars Cartoon, it would be interesting to find out from him if he will be involved at all withthe live action television show going into production.  Of course knowing how Lucas conducts business, I'm sure there will be little he can comment on.

In any case, Weekend 2 should be a fun time, especially for first timers.  Veterans might learn something new about things currently in the works television wise.
