Star Wars Weekends

I left Miami, Fla. at 2:00 am on Friday Morning, I left with my 2 daughters and
my grandmother. I got to MGM at around 6:55am that was due to my hotel
reservation promblem. When I arrived I saw one huge line which almost reached
the security check in. That line was for Ray Park(Darth Maul)so my daughter
and my grandmother got in that line. I went to the merchandise line and to my
surprise there was only 20 people in front of me.

At around 8:15am they started letting people in which where in line for the
autographs and the merchandise. Before they would let the Early Morning People
in. So it looks that they fixed the promblem from week 1. So I walked all the
way to Mickey Avenue and again to my surprise they still had Mickey Big Figs.
Now I had a decision to make because I went to get Minnie Leia not Mickey. But
when your waiting in line inside they have a display with all 4 Big Figs and to
tell you the truth Minnie blows Mickey away due to the fact the back ground
that Minnie has makes the Big Fig look more appiling. So I got the Minnie Big
Fig and 2 Beanies. I could of also gotten the miniture bobble heads(Jedi
Mickey and the 4 Figures of this year) that where a limited edition of 500.
They only had 12 left but the catch was you had to ship it home. So the bobble
heads where $35 plus shipping. Also they had the 500 limited edition pin set
of the bounty hunters. There was little merchandise that was sold out in other
words.

So I got out of the store and went to join my daughters & grandmother. When I
got there I saw that Jay's line was short so I got in it. Got a fastpass for
4:45pm and then caught up to my party which still was in line to get Ray Park's
fastpass. Success they got the fastpasses for 4:20 pm the last autograph
session. I heard that some people showed up in front of the park at 3:30 am to
get in line for Ray Park. Thats insane!!

After we got the Fastpasses we went to get a photo with Jedi Mickey took us
about 20 minutes which was not bad. Then we decided to get some lunch at the
ABC resturant. Soon after we ate, it was time to see the parade. We saw Ray
Park get off the car and do some cart wheels. So when the parade finished my
daughter wanted to go and paint at Disney Animation. After she finished we
took pictures with characters all over the place. I can tell you this not one
time that I saw that there was a huge line at Jabba's Place. Before I knew it,
it was time to see the Stars of the Saga Show.

The stormtroopers dialog was new mixed with some old dialog from the past. It
was awesome though and better than before. As for the show Ray Park and Daniel
Logan where awesome but Jay in my opinion was not as good of a host as Warrick
Davis last year. Warrick brung out the best of each of his guest plus he made
it fun. Jay was to straight up in my opinion even though Ray and Daniel where
great.

So the show finished and we decided to again hunt down the some more characters
before the autograph sessions. Well before we knew it, it was time to get Ray
Parks autograph. He was great with my daughter super nice guy all around. So
then my daughter and I went to Jay's location she went in by herself since I
only had 1 fastpass. Jay's line was super short. My daughter had a blast with
Jay. He wrote a message on my daughters on picture which said "May the mouse
be with you". After my daughter finished I told my daughter lets try to get
Daniel Logan's signiture, so we got to his location and we got lucky he made a
signal to the Disney Cast member to let us in and got his autograph. Ray Park
was also doing the samething on his side. These 3 guys where awesome they
really tried hard to give everyone an autograph even if you didn't have a
fastpass. I tip my hat to them.

After Daniel Logan's autograph we headed back to the hotel. Check out some of
