Weekend 1 - Jim "Jimiyank" Roman

We got in late June 1 around 3pm, headed straight over to the
collectibles and had a line that was only about 40 minutes long.
nothing sold out. We got the pins we wanted and then made out to see
some people, but, tropical storm Barry was giving out some rain, so, we
left shortly after that. one thing, wattos place was a lot smaller then
last year, not the same without the starfighter in the place.

Saturday we got in line around 7am, and about 60 people in line
already for ken baker. Expect it to be worse for ray park, this coming
Friday and Saturday. Friday is the last day for seasonal Disney
passholders, so, it could be more crowded. they did a few things
different. lines outside the park prior to getting in for all
autographs and collectibles, we also got in earlier then normal around
840. either go early or late for collectibles, i suggest later, and get
your autographs early as they get taken quickly. we met a few fans from
the site and took a picture with jedi mickey which you should get soon.
We still met at sounds dangerous. It was fun meeting fans that we saw
on line. Some belonged to the starwars.com site, and will submit the
pic to bantha tracks. The parade is now done via a million dreams, no
sign up any more. The stars were all so charming and nice. It appeared
ken baker was under the weather though, we felt bad for him. Jay was
funny and Bonnie, beautiful and so sweet. she would take pics, sign
extra autographs, you name it....we also met Karen Travis, and she was
nice, took her time asking question, wrote something special in the
book i got, and took some pictures. My wife and daughter loved the
anakin look alike. he was friendly and looked so close to Hayden. we
had a blast, things went well. Looking forward to this coming week,
enjoy it if you are going, get in early....oh, a ps, last year, we got
in at 7am, no paying for parking, this time a disney employee at the
gate. since we stayed at a hotel, we were free anyway, but, that may be
over now.....
