Star Wars Weekends

With Star Wars Weekends 2009 in full swing, we have reached the mid way point of the event.  So far so good.  While the weather appears to have improved as of the 2nd weekend, weekend #1 still stands out as the early winner with Ray Park's Trip to the Maul being one of the best "extras".  Couple that with Studios Centrals 2nd Dinner Event, which included suprise guest Warwick Davis and even the Monsoon rains we experienced were no problem to deal with.  As a matter of fact, there was only one event that I missed due to the weather.  Due to my scheduling and the incredible rainfall (aliens were pairing off in twos and seeking out a space ship/ark for safety) I missed this years Hoopla.

Now I intend to correct this during Weekend #3 as well as track down David Prowse.  Of course it is now June and the MUSTAFAR HEAT is front and center in my mind.  The beauty is that it doesn't stop people from coming out in force, wearing costumes and enjoying everything Star Wars.  I'm hoping that there is still a suprise or two left in these final two weeks that will be worth mentioning. 

Now Glenn mentioned that StarWars.com has put up an information video to help guide you through weekends.  They have been GREAT this year with info.  Because of my schedule I failed to point out earlier that they also updated the weekend guide PDF that they gave us for weekend #1.  Weekend #2's could be found here: http://sww.studioscentral.com/main/files/StarWarsWeekends_May_29-30_LR.pdf

I suspect that they will get weekend #3's up by the end of this week as well.  Here's hoping it is up on by Thursday.  At any rate if you are curious, keep a look out for it.  Starwars.com has really covered this well and we appreciate the information.

As for me, it is time to pick out something for Mr. Prowse to autograph.
