With Weekend 4 Comes Bargins

Some of the merchandise listed at StarWars.com that was missing from weekend #1 surfaced last week at Wicket's Warehouse.  With some of the other items starting to sell off, weekend 4 offers the opportunity for merchandise buyers to get some great items for a discounted rate.  If all follows previous history, by Sunday items at the Warehouse will be marked down bringing some of the Non Limited Edition items closer to a reasonable cost.

T-Shirts, apparrel and toysets will most likely have prices cut.  Also look for posters and non limited edition pins.  I can't speculate on any Limited Edition items other than to say I doubt you'll see much change there, but if you are a bargin Hunter, the time is now.  Weekend 4 may not offer you the best chance for obtaining merchandise, but it offers the best value!

No sale

Well, I was waiting for weekend 4 to buy the logo t-shirts and a few other things, but I went on Friday: nothing on sale. I went Saturday: the winter jackets on sale on the mugs and magn ets. Sunday: same thing. The t-shirts never went on sale as well as other things. I did ask a CM about what they would do with the SWW merch. and they said that they take it out and just sell it to CM for a discounted price. Last year I took advantange of the beanies sale, but this year I really didn't buy anything other than the logo pin and the box of 2 pins ( they sold out too).

Longing from afar :-)

Too bad there wasn't a way for those of us unable to attend weekend for to benefit from the deals too.

Your not kidding.  When you

Your not kidding.  When you can't take advantage of the price cuts it is hard to look at the stuff you bought when you find out how much you could have saved.  I'm going to try and avoid looking too closely at posts about the prices this weekend, but I seem to like punishing myself.

Prices

Last year, Fourth weekend.... They had the Mickey/Minnie beanies. When you bought them any of the previous weekends they sold for $30. The final weekend they sold for $15.

Shirts were also half off.

My heart is heavy with that

My heart is heavy with that kind of news.  I can only imagine how much I could purchase without the wife saying anything about it on weekend 4!

You don't know the POWER of discounted merchandise!

Prices

Saturday there were few things on sale. There was a StormTrooper jacket for $108 instead of $180. There were some mugs for $6 instead of $12 and there were some magnets that were $8 something instead of $12ish.

The few shirt styles left were not on sale. There were many of the white SWW shirts, but I saw none of the black SWW shirts (I think most of the black ones were gone before even the 3rd weekend). There were also no Donald/Goofy shirts that I noticed. They were selling the bronze coin for $7.50, but the others were still full price.

I don't know if things were cheaper today (Sunday) since I didn't go.

1st Weekend

I'm wondering on the 1st Weekend for the Merchandise Line, where do you line up? Is it clearly marked real early in the morning? Does anybody know how early?

Confused

Are you asking for next year???

If so, then it will be determined next year. They tend to change things every year and you never know how things will be til it happens.

This year is over.

Next Year

I was asking for next year, but I was wondering what they did this year because it is, i figure, at least likely going to be similar.

This year....

Well, this year they had us lined up in the morning to the far right line. Once the line got longer they would slowly funnel us into the park. Slowly enough so we were at the store exactly at 9:00. Hope this helps. see you next year.

You are no match for my power......

Next Year con..

If possible stay away from Friday (of 1st weekend). It is always hugely crowded and not worth the wait. You can get items easier either by waiting later that day or going the other 2 days that weekend. The items don't usually sell out the first weekend, as for selling out following weekends that will depend on what you want and how many they make.
